Object: standard size plot in a block of residential one-bedroom houses, planted with thuja

Purpose: family life

Task: To create a space that meets the needs of a young family. We had to create a feeling of coziness and lightness on a desely built-up site, without obscuring the courtyard space. The windows separated the terrace areas from each other. The pool and guest house are subtly separated from the residential house space, sauna, and utility area. We wanted the view through the windows of the living room and kitchen to delight all year round, rather than having to look at the wall of thuja. As a result, raised plant “clumps” appeared, and several larger trees between the zones rather than at the edges. In the recreation area, coziness is provided by the herbaceous plants, also covering the windows of the neighbours, stating that holidays can also be at home from time to time!
